Olfactory Hedonism

I don't master the art of simplicity! I love complexity and beasts in a bottle. There's never enough raw musk, animalics and smoke! 

My ideal scent incorporates incense, gasoline, dark vanilla, tonka, rum, musk, patchouli, almond liqueur, smoke and leather. I dislike roses, ylang, fresh and sweet light scents. If there is a fresh note present, a dirty animalic or heavy note should balance it out: bergamot and smoke, for example, or lemongrass with a marine note. I wish I could create my own fragrances. 

I wear heavily animalic, rum-adorned scents, regardless of weather or time of the year. Some may say animal scents are for mature people, but I've loved them since age 12. I am fondly attracted (addicted) to leather, gasoline (benzene) and oudh notes.

My all-time favorites are Percival (Parfums de Marly), Habdan (PdM), Safran Secret (Maison Crivelli), Oriental Express (Thierry Mugler), Musc Ravageur (Frederic Malle), 40 knots (a nautical-themed scent by Xerjoff) and the rum-filled Black Phantom (Kilian). Oriental Express has been discontinued, sadly.
